WHEN RAVENS SQUAWK

Limited in colour but not limited in drama, this abstract work is created using oil and cold wax on a heavy canvas, built up of more than 10 layers, closer inspection reveals the many layers underneath, scratches, marks and glimpses of colour.
Overaching is the navy blue black marks which give this piece it's striking marking - reminiscent of the Raven's which are nesting in my garden ;))
 
The piece is currently unframed, (frame shown is for illustration purposes) as the work is on deep edged canvas it can be hung directly on the wall or framing can be arranged.
