FULL CIRCLE

This contemporary piece of art came about due to the use of natural linen canvas, I wanted to work with the colour of the linen, for it to be part of the overall work.
 
Doing this naturally lead to working with a more limited palette of colours, this in turn called for strong contrast and form.  
 
Look closely and you will still find detail and interest, beyond the obvious bolder shapes. It would be a fabulous, striking addition to a modern, pared back home.
 
Framed in a wooden frame, stained walnut which complements wonderfully with the work. This piece measures roughly 134 x 104 cm . Created using acrylic, oil stick and ink.
