ANTIQUE FRENCH TRUFFLE JARS

We LOVE these antique French hand-blown dark olive green glass preserving / truffle jars.
 
Stunning in their simplicity, these French antique glass jars are a timeless addition in any home decor. 
There is  wonder in the  irregularity found along the splayed rims as a result of being hand-blown, each French glass jars' inherent features include striations, air bubbles and inclusions in the glass and there is a trademark rough pontil scar on the base of each jar.
 
Dating anywhere from the late 18th to the early 19th century and are beautiful for their unique, organic, and misshapen forms. As a genuine French antique expect each jar to be in good antique condition with an acceptable degree of wear in the form of scratches and scuffs in the glass.
