'Sunset' - Capturing the colours / Abstract Work On Paper
On occasion I like to move away from extra large paintings and have some fun with a smaller series of work.
I find this more challenging in some ways, but the outcome can be really satisfying and no less impactful.
Part of a duo ‘Sunset’ is sister to ‘Sunrise’ and embraces more of a soft, muted colour palette, inspired by the magical colours at sunset and sunrise often witnessed as the sky transforms at my local beach. In these works on paper I hope to capture the warmth, movement and fleeting moments of how the colours shift and blend that leaves me with a sense of peacefulness and energy.
Framed in a thin oak stained wooden frame behind glass and ready to pop on the wall, this is a great way to enter into owning original work without breaking the bank.
