With 'Faint Whispers' the variety of 'under layers' reveal themselves in parts, I wanted to balance the intensity of marks with larger 'quieter' patches to form an overall composition of this modern art piece.
As with all my work, I paint intuitively, dictated by the canvas and paint, I lean into what comes about when putting paint to canvas and as the work forms and dictates the twists and turns I'm challenged to be truly free and accepting.
