RACING HEART (diptych)

On occassion i'm drawn to working with a limited colour palette, and particulary love to create this work on natural linen canvas, which becomes and integral part of the composition. 
 
The results of this exploration is both contemporary and bold, yet shapes and forms which are often found, almost as a signature, to much of the work I produce.
 
Look closely and you will still find detail and interest, beyond the obvious bolder shapes. It would be a fabulous, striking addition to a modern, pared back home.
 
Framed in a wooden frame, stained walnut which complements wonderfully with the work. These two pieces measure roughly 87cm h x  66cm w  (so approx 135 wide when sitting side by side) . Created using acrylic, oil stick and ink.
